We are currently seeking a Heaters and Boilers Engineer, reporting directly to the H&B Section Head, to join our Engineering team based in Rome, Italy.

About the opportunity: The candidate will manage Firing Heaters, Boilers, and Firing Equipment Packages on proposals, FEED, and EPC projects. Responsibilities include preliminary design, sizing, specification writing, vendor follow-up, safety and environmental considerations, constructability analysis, and more. Key interactions are with project teams, procurement, proposal, construction, clients, vendors, and suppliers.
The role includes:
- Preparing project technical specifications
- Material requisitions for inquiry and purchase
- Technical bid analysis
- Managing detailed engineering and vendor documentation
- Coordination with other engineering disciplines
- Adhering to schedule and budget
- Reporting activities
- Ensuring quality and HSE objectives
- Interface with procurement and planning
- Travel for meetings, site visits, and vendor workshops
You will have opportunities for business trips, site visits, and supporting erection, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.

About you: To succeed, you should have:
- Master's Degree in Chemical or Energetic Engineering
- Fluent English
- Teamwork attitude, timely task completion, open-mindedness, communication skills, and willingness to international mobility
- Knowledge of new energy sources, renewables, hydrogen technologies, and digital tools is a plus
- Experience with combustion equipment, international codes (API, ASME), and simulation tools (FRNC-5, FLARESIM) is advantageous
