What will your responsibilities be within bioMérieux?

The Healthcare Director EMEA will play a key role in designing and implementing the strategic transformation for our Healthcare (Pharmaceutical) segment in order to maximize our business results in the EMEA region.

This position reports directly to our Senior Vice President Industry EMEA with 3 direct reports and 6 dotted line reports.

This position is based in Europe with travel expected throughout the EMEA region.

Main Accountabilities include

  • Accountability for the top line and Commercial EBIT of the Healthcare segment
  • Contributing to the creation of the Global Healthcare business strategy by providing regional insights (market, concept validation, business model relevancy)
  • Developing, creating, and implementing the EMEA regional business strategic plan (3-5 year roadmap) focusing on existing customers and new markets to achieve revenue and profit goals
  • Providing strong value contribution to the growth of Global & Regional Strategic Key Accounts
  • Animating and developing the EMEA Healthcare community through training, sharing best practices, and identifying segment/referent leaders
  • Adapting and implementing go-to-market strategies tailored to local specificities; coordinating product launch activities from planning to post-launch follow-up
  • Leading and driving new business development and market expansion initiatives
  • Collaborating with regional/local organizations and Key Opinion Leaders on key initiatives
  • Promoting account-focused communication and activities to increase sales efficiency

Who are you?

Education & Experience

  • Proven track record in marketing and selling value-based solutions to Healthcare companies at a global or regional level
  • Experience managing culturally diverse teams, complex projects, and cross-functional resources in a matrix environment
  • Knowledge of industrial diagnostics, bioproduction, and/or cell and gene therapies is a plus
