We are looking for a motivated and experienced Health & Safety Coordinator (RSPP) to take a leading role in ensuring compliance with Italian Health & Safety regulations (D.Lgs. 81/08) and strengthening the safety culture for the Italian Legal Entity (Segrate Headquarter) and our Production Site in Latina. This position is key to protecting our people, supporting smooth plant operations, and driving continuous improvement; the role will be based in Latina.


Location: Latina, Via Pico dellaMirandola, 8 04013 Latina.


Your Responsibilities:

Health & Safety Compliance:

  • Support the Datore di Lavoro and HSE Manager in ensuring full compliance with Italian H&S legislation of the Italian legal entity (Segrate Headquarter and Latina Production Site).
  • Deliver safety trainings, conduct Risk Assessments and JSAs, and coordinate all inspections with external authorities.
  • Propose and implement improvement actions, ensuring timely follow‑up and completion.
  • Contribute to corporate H&S initiatives and support emergency plan reviews.
  • Conduct Industrial Hygiene monitoring and manage MSDS according to Italian law and corporate requirements.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on Health & Safety, promoting best practices and continuous improvement across the site.

ISO 45001 Management Systems:

  • Develop, implement, and update H&S procedures within the Responsible Care and ISO 45001 Management Systems.
  • Ensure employees are trained and informed about relevant procedures and updates.
  • Guarantee accurate reporting of accidents, incidents, hazards, and near misses.
  • Lead incident investigations using root‑cause analysis and ensure proper closure of corrective actions.

Auditing & Inspection:

  • Conduct site inspections and evaluate workplaces, equipment, and practices for compliance.
  • Perform regular safety tours to enhance visibility and reinforce safety awareness.
  • Execute Internal Audits required under ISO certifications and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support the site’s overall Internal Audit program and track follow‑up actions.

Reporting & Communication:

  • Report all site-related Health & Safety performance indicators.
  • Prepare and submit audit, inspection, training, and monitoring reports.
  • Ensure effective communication with Corporate EHSS and accurate submission of safety metrics.
  • Issue Safety Alerts and updates to maintain strong safety awareness among employees.


What You Bring:

Education:

  • Degree in Engineering or another relevant technical field.

Technical & Regulatory Expertise:

  • Excellent knowledge of Italian Health & Safety laws, regulations, standards, and permitting requirements.
  • Certified RSPP qualification for chemical plant and experience gained in a production environment
  • Qualification and proven experience as a safety trainer.
  • Solid understanding of safety processes, risk assessment methodologies, and auditing practices.
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001 and OHSAS principles; familiarity with REACH is an advantage.

Professional Experience:

  • 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Direct experience in handling inspections and interactions with public authorities.
  • Proven ability to develop, implement, and improve safety processes.

  • Strong technical foundation combined with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Leadership mindset with the ability to influence, engage, and mobilize teams.
  • Fact‑based, process‑oriented approach with strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
  • Confident in asserting ideas and gaining buy‑in across stakeholders.
  • Proficient IT skills, especially Microsoft Office.
  • Good written and spoken English.
