Head of Technical Department - Plant Engineering
APR is partnering with an SME, growing international industrial company, seeking a Technical Manager to lead and transform its technical & design department. This strategic role will combine hands‑on technical oversight with strong leadership, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, cost, and schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate company strategy into concrete technical execution plans.
- Oversee design activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards, budgets, and timelines.
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of about 10 experts, fostering engagement and professional growth.
- Coordinate closely with supply chain, suppliers and clients, and site teams during assembly and commissioning phases.
- Drive standardization, process optimization, and the introduction of innovative technical solutions.
Your Profile
- Mechanical Engineer.
- Significant experience – at least 15 years – in design and engineering for complex industrial production lines or large‑scale capital equipment.
- Proven ability to manage teams and technical projects in demanding environments.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
- A leader with a coaching mindset, eager to contribute to organizational change and continuous improvement.
We offer a permanent position, based in Turin, ‘Quadro’ or ‘Dirigente’ level with a compensation package in the range of 80–100K€ plus MBO but NO company car, adjusted according to experience and skills, together with the opportunity to play a central role in the reorganization and future growth of the technical department.
