Head of Tax

Experteer Overview

In this role you will lead tax compliance, advisory and strategy for the local jurisdiction within a global team. You will ensure compliance with local and international tax rules while optimizing the tax position and strengthening governance, processes, and controls. You will partner with Finance, Legal and Group Tax, supervising a small team and external advisors. This is a chance to shape tax policy and reporting in a multinational environment and drive continuous improvement.

• Oversee direct tax compliance and financial filings for the jurisdiction
• Manage group tax reporting and filings (e.g., relief, interest restriction)
• Handle cash tax for business units (installments, payments, settlements)
• Lead tax advisory initiatives (e.g., R&D tax credits)
• Support tax audits and litigations for the jurisdiction
• Implement transfer pricing policies and prepare Local TP documentation
• Maintain stakeholder relationships with external accountants, advisors, and financial institutions
• Oversee indirect tax position for the group
• Promote collaboration and performance within the finance team

Responsabilità

• 8-10 years of tax experience, ideally in a leading group or Big Four
• Strong understanding of corporate taxation and local/international reporting
• Solid knowledge of transfer pricing and indirect tax
• Experience supervising a tax team and external advisors
• Ability to build efficient processes, governance and drive improvements
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Experience operating in a matrix, multinational environment
