MVRK is recruiting on behalf of a confidential, high-growth company in advertising technology. The business is building privacy-safe, high-performance advertising for the open internet and is scaling rapidly following the acquisition of a leader in immersive Augmented Reality advertising. Headquartered in Italy with a growing presence in the UK and US, the company has a team of approximately 140 people, a fast-paced and collaborative culture, backing from leading investors, and a clear trajectory toward a private-equity exit in the next 3–5 years.

What The Company Builds

An AI-powered programmatic curation platform that delivers superior performance by curating high-quality inventory from 2,000+ direct publishers. This is complemented by an AR advertising platform enabling brands and agencies to create, distribute, and measure engaging AR campaigns. Together, these products form a comprehensive toolkit for next-generation digital advertising.

The role

Reporting to the Global Head of HR, you will build and lead the Talent Acquisition function from the ground up. This is hands‑on at the start: you will personally drive critical hires across Technology and Go-to‑Market teams before hiring and managing your own team. Your mission is to create a repeatable, scalable hiring engine that attracts top talent and positions the company as an employer of choice in adtech. The role is based in Pisa and has a defined growth path to Head of HR for Italy.

What You’ll Do

  • Build the engine: Design and implement the end-to-end recruitment process, including selecting, negotiating, and launching the first ATS.
  • Hunt for talent: Manage full‑lifecycle recruiting for key technical and commercial roles in Italy and support strategic hiring in the UK and US.
  • Craft the story: Develop and launch the Employer Value Proposition and execute a multi‑channel employer‑branding strategy to position the company in the global adtech community.
  • Scale the team: Within 12–18 months, hire, mentor, and lead a high‑performing TA team of 2–3 recruiters.
  • Master onboarding: Partner with the business to design and deliver a world‑class onboarding program that accelerates time to impact.
  • Champion candidate experience: Ensure every candidate has a positive, professional experience.

Skills You’ll Have

  • Proven success as a hands‑on, full‑cycle recruiter in a fast‑growth tech company or dynamic agency environment.
  • Experience building TA processes, implementing an ATS, and using data to drive recruiting strategy.
  • Passion for employer branding and exceptional candidate experience.
  • Ability to operate and influence in a fast‑paced, ambiguous, international setting.
  • Strong stakeholder management with senior leaders and hiring managers.
  • Business‑fluent English and Italian.

Nice to have

  • Hiring experience across highly technical roles (Software Engineering, Data Science) and Go‑to‑Market roles (Sales, Marketing, Client Services).
  • Deep network and knowledge of the adtech or martech talent landscape.
  • Experience designing and delivering early‑stage L&D programs, particularly new‑hire training.
