Overview

Carbobois, the committed charcoal specialist Founded in 1983 and integrated into the Tolefi group in 2010, Carbobois is the largest importer and distributor in Europe of charcoal and other products derived from sustainably managed forests (FSC or PEFC labels), such as pellets, compressed logs and extruded logs. Eco-responsible fuels (FSC or PEFC labels) marketed to individuals and professionals.

Established in Charleroi in Belgium, Carbobois is ideally located at the crossroads of Europe. The factory, linked to the port of Antwerp by the Sambre canal, can produce up to 400 bags of charcoal per hour and the company has 40,000m² of warehouses, ensuring a high level of service rate at its customers, especially during seasonal peaks.

Carbobois combines profitability and eco-responsible commitment. The company maintains relationships of trust with its producers. By ensuring their fair compensation, it makes charcoal a lever for local economic development and the reduction of inequalities. In addition, through the Carbobois Solidarity Fund, managed by the Roi Baudoin Foundation, it supports social actions in Namibia, a country in which it sources eco-responsible charcoal from invasive plants (acacias), without causing deforestation.

What you’ll be doing

  • Strategy

    Assess the country market (mapping) and feasibility of business plans. Implement a marketing strategy and define the commercial strategy of the country. Implement an annual budget and detailed operational plan. Deploy the strategy and enter the Italian market.

  • Development

    Set up distribution networks. Develop and manage a portfolio of potential customers: identify them, prospect, adapt the arguments to the targets, prepare agreements. Retain a portfolio of key accounts. Maintain a business network through local contacts to strengthen the company's positioning and reputation. Fill in dashboards (maps, lists, diagrams, gauges, indicators), suggest improvements in monitoring tools and sales processes.

  • Marketing

    Optimize the commercial organization, the sales processes, and the means necessary to carry out the activities. Prospect, meet customers and ensure commercial follow-up. Produce regular activity reports.

What we need from you

  • Full time role - weekend OFF

What skills and experience you’ll bring to us

  • Knowledge in charcoal

  • At least 5 years of sales or sales manager experience

  • Mastering sales and negociation technics
