Experteer Overview
In this role you drive revenue and trade volumes for MarketAxess in Italy and Spain by growing institutional client relationships, onboarding and promoting platform adoption, and delivering effective go-live and STP integration. You will work with buyside clients, product, and global sales to translate client needs into actionable insights and a disciplined pipeline. You’ll represent MarketAxess at key events while coordinating cross-regional opportunities to expand usage and engagement. This is a chance to shape cross-border sales strategy in a rapidly evolving electronic trading landscape.

- Own and execute Southern Europe client coverage strategy for growth, retention and platform adoption
- Deepen institutional client relationships across product segments to increase trading volumes
- Build and manage a disciplined pipeline; identify underperformance and implement remedial actions
- Identify and onboard new clients; coordinate documentation and go-live plans
- Coordinate onboarding and training to ensure successful go-live and sustained usage
- Drive integration and STP connectivity to improve workflow adoption
- Increase client trade enquiries and conversion from enquiry to trades across trading protocols
- Collaborate with dealer coverage, global sales and product management to maximize cross-regional opportunities
- Represent MarketAxess at client events, conferences and industry forums
- Ensure continuity of client service with back-up coverage during absences
Responsabilità
- 10+ years' experience in institutional sales or client coverage within financial markets
- Strong expertise in fixed income markets, electronic trading protocols, and market structure
- Deep understanding of client technology infrastructure and trading workflows
- Ability to lead client meetings independently, including senior level and strategic discussions
- People leadership skills; ability to manage, mentor and train junior sales team members
- Strong commercial judgement, credibility and executive presence
- Consistently results driven with a track record of sustained sales performance
- Fluent in Italian, Spanish, and English
