Your tasks:
- Overall responsibility for the further expansion of business activities in Italy with a direct reporting line to the German headquarter
- Establishment, development and later on management of a sales team in Italy
- Independent development and maintenance of business contacts in the area of Trade and Distribution partners
- Development and support of direct customers from the industrial and OEM sectors
- Independently carrying out product presentations and contract negotiations up to the conclusion of the contract
- Carrying out market and potential analyses for the applications of the group‘s products in new markets
- Pricing strategy in cooperation with product management and Global Sales
- Participation in relevant trade fairs and events
Your background:
- Completed technical or business studies or practical career with relevant professional experience
- Relevant experience in sales management in a technically complex environment, ideally within industrial measurement technology, hydraulics, pumps, gears, motors, valves, sensors, etc.
- Totally independent way of working
- Empathetic leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
- Strong affinity for technical details
- Fluent in English and Italian
