The successful candidate will shape and lead the commercial, financial, and partnership strategy for major infrastructure projects - responsible for structuring complex commercial agreements, securing project financing, and guiding the company’s growth across priority markets.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Development & Market Expansion

• Engage senior stakeholders across utilities, IPPs, developers, and industrials to drive new commercial opportunities.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of long‑duration storage and clean‑energy infrastructure projects across EMEA.
• Position the organisation as a preferred partner for large, grid‑connected energy solutions.

Strategic Partnerships & Commercial Structuring

• Lead the negotiation and structuring of long‑term agreements (PPAs, storage contracts, development partnerships, JV frameworks).
• Develop tailored commercial solutions for customers with complex grid or operational requirements.

Project Finance & Financial Structuring

• Structure non‑recourse financing for utility‑scale energy assets.
• Build, validate, and optimise financial models for investment and lender decision‑making.
• Manage lenders and investors (banks, ECAs, DFIs, infrastructure funds) through due diligence to financial close.

Market Insight & Commercial Strategy

• Apply expertise in energy markets, capacity mechanisms, and grid‑services revenue models.
• Support SPV setup, commercial frameworks, and partnership structures to ensure bankability.
• Drive commercial optimisation and risk‑allocation strategies across major projects.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience across engineering, commercial development, and project finance for large energy or infrastructure projects.
• Strong track record negotiating complex agreements with utilities, IPPs, EPCs, or major industrials.
• Proven experience executing non‑recourse financing for utility‑scale assets.
• Strategic, analytical, and influential with senior stakeholders.
• Thrives in a dynamic, growth‑driven environment with a focus on innovation and commercial execution.
