Head of Production – aeronautical sector

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the production areas (mechanical, surface treatments, testing/assembly) with around 150 direct resources.
• Ensure efficiency and quality of production processes in line with aeronautical standards and requirements.
• Work closely with internal functions, ensuring alignment with industrial plans and a strong focus on cash flow.
• Foster a positive, constructive, and conflict-free working environment, enhancing people’s skills and strengthening ties with the local community.
• Monitor productivity, cost, time, and quality KPIs, with strong focus on results and goal orientation.
• Support the Operations Director in defining improvement plans and in the development of expansion projects.

Requirements

• Degree in technical disciplines.
• At least 15 years of experience in production roles within the aeronautical sector or comparable industries with high technical complexity.
• Knowledge of systems.
• Strong knowledge of industrial processes and production technologies.
• Collaborative leadership style, strong communication skills, and people-oriented approach.
• Strong results orientation, financial and economic awareness, and efficient resource management.
• Authority, balance, and ability to operate effectively in evolving contexts.
