About the Role

I am exclusively partnering with a deep‑tech scale‑up that is redefining how enterprise software is validated, tested and secured. While traditional tools act as basic safety nets catching surface‑level errors, this business has built an advanced AI‑driven engine that understands complex business logic, predicts potential failures or exploits, and safely launches those scenarios within the engineering pipeline to demonstrate real risk. The company has recently secured significant early‑stage funding.

Head of Product – Overview

The Head of Product will join the European R&D hub in Northern Italy to bring this technology to the global enterprise market. You will partner directly with the technical founders, transition the business from a highly advanced technical tool to a scalable enterprise platform, own the roadmap, work closely with the on‑site engineering team, and manage a Lead Product Designer.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Work with a world‑class research team to translate deep‑tech capabilities into automated, intuitive product features that developers can use without needing domain expertise.
• Ensure technical alerts are actionable by building a product that validates every issue instantly, proving its worth to users.
• Bridge the gap between deep tech and commercial value by defining packaging, pricing, and a go‑to‑market strategy for the UK and US enterprises.
• Lead the Shift‑Left philosophy alongside the Lead Product Designer, creating frictionless UX that integrates directly into everyday engineering workflows.

What We’re Looking For

We need a Product Leader who knows how to build exceptional SaaS tools for developers. Background in cybersecurity or advanced testing is a strong bonus but not essential. The founders and R&D team have the domain expertise; we need your product mindset.

Required Skills

• Deep understanding of developer workflows, integrations, and the broader engineering ecosystem.
• Experience building infrastructure or workflow tools that software engineers actually want to use.
• A ‘doer’ mentality with hands‑on product execution and leadership to manage a Lead Product Designer while collaborating deeply with the local engineering team.
• Track record in B2B SaaS Product Management, ideally within DevTools, Infrastructure, or Deep Tech, and having taken a product through early growth phases.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and high‑growth environments while balancing engineering desires with the commercial realities of what enterprise buyers will actually pay for.
