Aim of the role:

As the Head of Supply Planning , you are a hands-on leader who combines strategic vision with meticulous attention to details, transforming the supply planning function into a remarkable competitive advantage. You will be a key enabler of our Supply Planning Transformation evolving the function to a data-driven, strategic powerhouse.

The core of this role is built upon transformational pillars:

• Supply Planning Transformation: Revolutionize the planning landscape through production schedules optimization, lowering costs through resource/asset allocation and inventory reduction.
• Change Management & Strategy: Drive a cultural shift by implementing agile Supply Chain Planning processes. You will act as a change agent, navigating the organization through the adoption of new digital tools and methodologies.
• Team Leadership & Empowerment: Develop a high-performing planning team fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Main responsibilities (based but not exclusive ):

• Strategic Planning : Develop and execute a comprehensive planning strategy that aligns with the company's growth targets and operational capabilities.
• Direct & XFunctional Leadership: Lead the planning team and work with cross functional teams across Sales, Operations, and Finance to ensure seamless integration and execution planning processes.
• Forecast & Analysis: Analyze trends, demand forecasting, and sales data to make informed decisions on production planning, inventory management, and capacity needs.
• Process Optimization & Improvements: Act as a change agent, identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Cost Reduction: Deliver tangible cost savings through efficient inventory levels and improved production planning.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Economics or Chemistry is highly preferred.
• Desired Languages Skills: Italian native speaker, fluent in English.
• Industrial/manufacturing industries in the chemicals and specialty chemicals sectors with exposure to healthcare verticals.
• Extensive experience acquired in leading process-oriented companies, demonstrating proficiency and expertise in Planning and S&OP.

• Able to develop a clear strategy around data and drive transformational change.
• Collaborates cross functionally, fosters effective communication channels to ensure relevant information is shared promptly.
• Proficient in effective communication, able to convey complex ideas in a clear and engaging manner, fostering understanding and collaboration among diverse stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and empathy skills and ability to engage the team by demonstrating excellent interpersonal characteristics that drive and inspire others toward achieving common goals.
