Experteer Overview

As Head of Operational Governance, you will lead cross-functional governance across LOF, TPRM, outsourcing, data privacy, and operational support. You will ensure regulatory compliance and effective governance frameworks while collaborating with DPO, Group Compliance, Legal, and Sustainability teams. You will drive process excellence, reporting, and ESG-related governance, shaping how the organisation operates responsibly. A key part of your role is guiding the team and coordinating governance activities with senior stakeholders.

• Oversee Operational Governance team and their interactions with Procurement and business units for purchase orders and contract checks
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Group policies across all areas of responsibility
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (DPO, Group Compliance, Legal, Sustainability)
• Implement governance frameworks in outsourcing, third-party risk management, and ESG
• Drive operational excellence through streamlined processes and timely task/report delivery
• Provide strategic guidance to the team and foster collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement
• Organize Allianz Direct S.p.A. Management Committee—prepare agendas, collect documents, record minutes, archive materials
• Support Corporate Affairs in organizing Board of Directors meetings—prepare agendas and collect documentation
• Serve as central contact for audits, ensuring deadlines are met
• Support ESG governance activities and monitor Group objectives with relevant stakeholders

Responsabilità

• Law degree
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Proven leadership in governance, compliance, or operational management
• Strong knowledge of privacy regulations, outsourcing processes, and TPRM frameworks
• Familiarity with ESG principles and reporting requirements
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of ChatGPT or similar tools
• Fluency in English and Italian
