The Operational Excellence Unit has the responsibility to optimize the operating model and drive operational excellence throughout the Group with a tight focus on cost governance across the entire operating cost base. In particular:

  • Collect and analyse business and operational data from the owner functions
  • Identify opportunities for operational excellence optimization and transformation, leveraging the scale of the Group, and capturing synergies
  • Coordinate the Group effort and drive the initiatives aimed at OpEx optimization and cost savings

The successful candidate will be in charge of the Operational Delivery team, responsible for

  • Managing the implementation of strategic operational excellence and cost saving projects across the operating platform in collaboration with other Group COO functions (e.g., Procurement, IT, P&FM, Data, AI & Automation) both at Group and BU level
  • Ensure the achievement of synergies, the sharing of best practices and the alignment of relevant projects with the Group strategic priorities and expense plan

This is an opportunity for a dedicated and highly motivated individual to manage the delivery important strategic programs of the Group. The candidate will:

  • Manage the team in charge of:
  • Collecting and analyzing business and operational data
  • Leading and implementing transformational projects with focus on operational excellence
  • Coordinating large cross-functional and cross-BU teams
  • Manage the relationship with key internal stakeholders both at Group level and Local Entity level to ensure the achievement of the identified priorities and targets

Requirements

  • Degree in fields such as Economics and Engineering
  • 15+ years of experience in top tier consultancy firms with focus on Financial Services and/ or in the Financial Services industry with a preferred focus on operations
  • Fluent English is a minimum requirement, Italian and additional languages (e.g., French, German) will be considered a plus
  • Proven track record in managing international teams in the context of complex transformation programs
  • Proven experience in leading and developing teams, with direct managerial responsibility
  • Proven track record in managing multiple senior stakeholders in international contexts with challenging targets
