Head Of Marketing & Sales - BU Pasta Sauces
The person will be based in our Headquarter in Parma.
Main responsibilities:
Market, Consumer & Category Strategy
- Analyse food consumption trends, consumer behaviours, competitor positioning, pricing and innovation landscapes
- Identify opportunities for new product launches and range extensions
- Define category growth objectives and marketing mix (product, price, promotion, placement) in alignment with international markets
- Build business cases and category P&L ownership, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth
Innovation & Product Development Leadership
- Lead the end-to-end NPD pipeline: concept → recipe → industrialisation → packaging → market rollout
- Coordinate with R&D, production and markets to develop and optimise products
- Manage innovation gate processes and ensure cross-functional readiness
- Oversee concept development, packaging, artwork, naming, claims and brand coherence across markets
Cross-Functional & Cross-Market Coordination
- Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Planning and Procurement on forecasting, product availability and industrial investment needs
- Facilitate governance moments (GMT, QBR, NPD Boards)
- Coordinate agencies, trade marketing and communication teams
- Support markets and sales teams with category-selling strategies and commercial initiatives
Commercial Performance & Governance
- Monitor KPIs including volumes, profitability, market share, distribution and ROI of projects and promotions
- Contribute to pricing strategy and assortment architecture
- Analyse sell-in and sell-out performance to optimise category presence
What we are looking for:
Strategic & Leadership Capabilities
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-market innovation and portfolio strategies
- Strong ability to translate consumer insights into business strategy
- Solid commercial grounding with P&L accountability
- Ability to prioritise across multiple markets with different levels of maturity
Operational & Industrial Acumen
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, demand planning, procurement and quality dynamics
- Ability to make business decisions considering operational xdwybme and capacity constraints
- Experience managing complex packaging and multi-market artwork processes
Stakeholder & Communication Excellence
- Ability to operate effectively across Italy and international markets
- Strong stakeholder management and escalation handling skills
- Excellent communication, facilitation and agency management capabilities
- Proven ability to develop and coach team members and junior talent
What you will be needing:

Languages:
- English: Full professional fluency required
- Italian: Functional fluency required for operational and stakeholder collaboration
