What You’ll Do
- Lead all legal matters within your assigned Territory across complex commercial, corporate, regulatory, data protection, competition, intellectual property, sanctions/trade control issues and dispute resolution.
- Provide senior partnership to legal and business teams on high-value and complex customer agreements, strategic partnerships, corporate transactions/M&A, governance and advisory matters, and R&D activities.
- Lead a team of twelve attorneys; report to the Head of Legal EMEA; be a member of the EMEA Legal Leadership Team and the CU South Europe & Eurasia Leadership Team.
- Drive intelligent value creation by acting as the “glue” across Ericsson, champion transparency and constructive challenge, and safeguard company value and reputation.
- Champion business success by advising the business with strategic and tactical solutions, while striving for simplicity in approach.
- Lead with integrity, acting as a role model and protecting the company’s value and reputation.
- Foster collaboration across the EMEA region and GFLA globally, building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Identify and mitigate legal and business risks, ensure compliance, and proactively seek opportunities to improve processes and legal efficiency.
- Develop the capabilities of the legal team and contribute to learning initiatives while fostering an inclusive environment for diverse talent.
What You’ll Bring
- Top-tier legal acumen with at least 15 years of experience in a corporate in-house setting or at a leading law firm; broad international experience; senior-level capability; experience in tech/telecommunications is a plus.
- Strategic mindset with strong business acumen and the ability to analyze complex situations and provide sound legal advice that supports business objectives.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust with stakeholders at all levels and navigate challenging conversations.
- Growth mindset: eager to learn, embrace change, and contribute to the evolution of Ericsson’s legal function.
- Commitment to excellence with a strong work ethic and dedication to delivering high-quality legal services.
