DUTIES
As Head of ICT & Digital Transformation, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of Argotec's business and corporate systems, including cloud infrastructures, networks and cybersecurity, as well as managing physical infrastructure and data center with a focus on disaster recovery and backup solutions.
As a manager of a growing team, you will manage complex systems, driving digitalization projects, ensuring the seamless operation and optimal performance of all digital assets, cybersecurity, network components, server environments and internal helpdesk services.
Activities
- Design and implement the corporate ICT & Digitalization strategy, ensuring full alignment with operational needs and long-term business objectives.
- Oversee the execution of digitalization initiatives, acting as project manager and ensuring consistency with corporate goals, timelines, and quality standards.
- Oversee the daily operation and security of all ICT systems, including network infrastructure, servers, telephony, Wi‑Fi, and core business technologies.
- Ensure robust data protection and cybersecurity protocols are in place, continuously monitored, and regularly updated to protect all sensitive information.
- Coordinate ICT & Digitalization projects and system upgrades, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth implementation and minimal disruption.
- Create standards and frameworks for ICT processes and push their adoption within the company.
- Provide responsive ICT support to all departments, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and maintaining operational continuity.
- Develop and manage the ICT Infrastructures budget, ensuring efficient use of financial resources, budget planning and asset management, including procurement, software licensing, contract negotiation and cost efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with legal, corporate, and regulatory requirements, such as data privacy laws (e.g. GDPR) and payment security standards (e.g. PCI‑DSS).
- Train and guide property teams on ICT systems and digital tools, promoting user competence and digital literacy across the organization.
- Collaborate closely with department heads to understand their technological needs and identify digital solutions that enhance efficiency and service delivery.
- Stay updated on technology trends in hospitality, evaluating and recommending innovations that improve operations, guest experience, and security.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field.
- Executive training in digital transformation, cybersecurity, or IT governance will be considered as a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in ICT management roles, preferably in high‑tech or mission‑critical environments.
- At least 5 years of experience in leading IT strategy, infrastructure, and cybersecurity in complex organizations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and at all levels of seniority.
- Availability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced, innovation‑driven context.
- Fluency in English, both written and oral.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCES & SKILLS
- Expertise in IT infrastructure, network security, and data protection best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to implement digital transformation and change management initiatives in fast‑growing or innovation‑driven organizations.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead complex system integrations or migrations.
- Proven experience in a senior ICT leadership role, preferably within high technology or multi‑location operation.
- A strategic mindset with hands‑on capabilities and a solution‑driven approach.
- Capability to lead innovative initiatives that bridge IT, operations and engineering functions.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels and departments.
- High level of discretion, reliability, and commitment to confidentiality and data integrity.
- Ability to translate technical language and complexity into business value for non‑technical stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment with high service expectations.
