Job Purpose
With a new HR Operating Model, a new HR Business Partnering approach is required to support the scalability of the business and organizational growth plans. The focus is on a consistent, standardized, and efficient HR delivery across all moments that matter. The Head of HR Italy is responsible for driving business performance through people. This role is part of the EMEA HR Team, providing a full spectrum of HR and leadership expertise to ensure effective and sustainable working relations and performance. The Head of HR reports directly to the General Manager Italy and matrix to the Head of HR Southern Hub.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Understand business and people needs; articulate and translate business trends, needs, and challenges, providing feedback to stakeholders within and outside the HR community.
- Act as a strategic partner, coach, mentor, and advisor to Italy leaders to enable them to deliver performance through their people, aligned with Straumann Group strategy, purpose, mindset, and core beliefs.
- Own local HR processes (e.g., budgeting, workforce planning, performance management, engagement, rewards review, talent and succession planning).
- Implement HR solutions, initiatives, and processes within a matrix collaboration, evaluating and providing feedback on their success.
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of HR processes supported by digital tools, moving towards a more self-service organization.
- Serve as a Transformation and Change Agent, leading our Culture Journey to foster a high-performing and engaged workforce.
- Provide responsive HR support to a fast-paced, global, and agile business.
- Drive a positive employee experience across all key moments by empowering business leaders.
- Maintain proactive communication with HR Leaders, sharing best practices across Western Europe.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Over 10 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably across multiple countries.
- Broad HR expertise with experience in multinational environments.
- Ability to build effective relationships at all levels and act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders.
- Experience working with diverse cultures and knowledge of international labor laws, including works council collaboration.
- Proven experience in HR transformation and digitalization.
- Strong background in coaching, leadership development, and succession planning, with success in talent pipeline development.
- Comfortable in dynamic environments and adaptable to change.
- High integrity, commitment, and team-oriented mindset.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Good judgment for decision-making in fast-paced settings.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
