- How You’ll Make an Impact
- As a trusted partner to the Leadership in the region, as the Head of HR you will translate business requirements into human capital imperatives.
- You will lead and manage the HR Field organization for Western Europe
- You will support the transformation and change required by the business and create an environment that fosters dialogue and constructive relations with our Works Councils / Unions / Employee representatives.
- You will drive implementation of a state-of-the-art HR Operating Model, ensuring high-quality delivery of HR services at the interface between Field HR, Centers of Competence and Shared Services.
- Build solid, trusted relationships with the Sub regional Leadership Teams, striking a delicate balance between consulting / advising and being a team member.
- Represent Siemens Energy externally and be connected in professional networks in the country / Sub region representing Siemens Energy as an inspiring leader.
- Understand the business and its strategy, be an active part of the decision-making process across all of the organization (sales, service, support functions, etc). Partner with business leaders to actively analyze and drive cultural change in line with business strategy.
- Understand the external world and its implications on the business and people strategy (industries, markets, customers, HR, people practice etc.)
- Collaborate with Global HR Business Partners to ensure alignment between global business / people strategy and local people strategy and related HR initiatives.
- Identify needs for change management and champion related activities as well as enable Sub regional businesses to develop a diverse, robust talent pipeline
- Drive discussions related to workforce and organization design changes and provide recommendations
Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
- At least 10 to 15 years of experience in human resources dealing with works councils / trade unions.
- Demonstrated success in stimulating and driving change within the organization
- Ability to challenge and influence at all levels
