Job Purpose / Role Key Responsibilities Set up local service and operations functions in cooperation with the responsible owners of Allianz's target platforms, OE-specific solutions, and the CTO2-head of Allianz Tech, leveraging Allianz Tech processes, standards, and tools. Organize and plan the roll-out and operation of local/regional layers as well as OE-specific solutions for Allianz Italy, including on-site support. Serve as the key contact for Allianz's COO in Italy for detailed transformation execution in collaboration with the CTO2-head. Manage local steering committees of respective programs and projects with the Allianz Italian local boards. Provide operational, conceptual, and strategic consulting throughout all project phases. Deliver a local roll-out of target platforms and OE-specific solutions within agreed time, quality, and budget constraints. Contribute to standardization through a cross-region enabler team by leveraging expert and talent pools (Enabler Domains) within Az Technology GSI to ensure timely, quality, and budget-compliant project delivery in a multicultural environment. Establish and lead high-performing, multi-disciplinary, multicultural project teams, including steering off-shore sites and external delivery partners to ensure efficient project execution with the local Board of Management. Manage Allianz Italy GSI resources from a disciplinary perspective. Key Requirements / Skills / Experience Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent qualification. Over 10 years of experience, focusing on IT and general management, with a strong knowledge of the insurance industry being a distinct advantage. Deep understanding of Insurance Industry Operations and IT opportunities along the value chain; knowledge of insurance business strategy, challenges, and regulatory specifics of Italy's main markets. Advanced knowledge of Shared Services and arms-length operating models. Proven experience leading large-scale international technology transformation and change programs, including organizational change. Strong negotiation, networking, and interpersonal skills. Analytical thinking and methodological planning abilities. Solid business judgment and advanced problem-solving skills. Ability to influence and steer executive peers effectively. Excellent intercultural and communication skills, capable of managing ambiguity and diverse stakeholders globally and locally. Successful organizational development experience, including training, coaching, mentoring, and conflict mediation skills. Ability to work effectively in a global matrix organization and lead through influence. Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
