Overview

Head of Franchise Lung – in Italy. You will play a leading role in our Oncology Business Unit, being responsible for the development and execution of brand vision and strategy, working in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Vice President of the Business Unit Oncology.
  • Responsible for marketing and strategic plans, sales results and competitive performance in Italy for the Franchise.
  • Primary responsibility for marketing activities of assigned products to support company objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to transform the treatment of Lung cancer.
  • Lead development of brand strategy.
  • Lead and support implementation of diagnostic testing.
  • Define Franchise strategy through cross-functional brand plan process, considering Company and Product objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional Product Business Team to guarantee effective implementation and monitoring of Brand plan actions.
  • Work closely with sales leaders to identify opportunities and issues.
  • Ensure effective product communication, promotional supports and marketing plan implementation to reach sales objectives and margins, including market access considerations.
  • Monitor market analysis (scenarios, trends, competitors) and track product perception (quantitative and qualitative).
  • Drive innovation in the business by identifying and implementing innovative approaches and marketing channels.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with KOLs and with HQ for Global projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree; MBA preferred.
  • 8–10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and/or health care industry with proven Sales and Marketing experience.
  • Oncology expertise.
  • Experience in launching new products.
  • Ability to coach, mentor and develop staff.
  • Demonstrated success leading across functional teams.
  • Strategic in approach with a strong focus on results.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex market and financial data.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and courage in decision making; innovative mindset.
  • Experience working in an alliance; leading at scale.
  • Italian and English language fluency.

Preferred Requirements

  • Knowledge of the Italian Healthcare system.
  • Market Access experience/knowledge.
