We are part of an international group that leads the corporate welfare services sector, and we’re looking for a Head of Finance who can combine strategic vision with solid technical expertise to lead and grow our Finance function in Italy.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be directly involved in a European group at the forefront of employee benefits. Over the past five years, Epassi has grown its business more than tenfold and stands out for its consistent growth and high profitability. In Italy, Epassi operates under the name Eudaimon .

Your mission with us
As Head of Finance (f/m/d) , you’ll take ownership of the financial strategy and operations of our Italian entity within a rapidly growing international group. You’ll lead and develop the Finance function, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and strategic alignment. In this key leadership role, you will work closely with the international CFO and local management to drive financial performance and enable sustainable growth.

You will be responsible for...
- Leading and developing the Finance department, covering accounting, treasury, financial statements, budgeting, and controlling.
- Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with Italian regulations and group policies.
- Managing monthly closings (P&L and Balance Sheet) and delivering clear, data-driven financial reports to the group HQ in Finland.
- Implementing internal procedures and ensuring compliance with tax and corporate regulations.
- Acting as a strategic partner to local leadership and the international CFO on key financial and business decisions.
- Managing relationships with auditors, banks, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
- Driving process improvements and financial tool optimization, with a focus on digitization and operational efficiency.
- Leading or supporting ERP implementation projects.
- Monitoring and optimizing financial performance through KPIs, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Coordinating cross-functional financial processes and ensuring alignment across departments.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to plan, execute, and track financial strategies.
- Preparing presentations and reports for executive-level stakeholders.
- Overseeing compliance and risk management within finance operations.
- Supporting decision-making with in-depth financial and business insights.
- Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance roles, ideally within multinational organizations.
- In-depth knowledge of Italian GAAP, tax regulations, and intercompany accounting.
- Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required; Italian fluency is a must.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing finance teams.
- Prior experience in service companies or administratively complex environments is a strong plus.
- Experience with ERP systems and finance digitalization initiatives.
- Demonstrated success in managing financial operations and business partnering at a strategic level.
- Excellent command of financial tools and reporting systems.
- Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and collaborate across countries.
- Experience leading or participating in system implementation projects (e.g., ERP rollouts).
- Italian - native or fluent proficiency (C2)
- English - fluent and business-proficient (minimum C1), for international communication and reporting

What We Offer
- Gross annual salary: €75,000 - €90,000 + performance-based bonus + company car
