Overview

Head of Field Marketing - Italy

The Head of Field Marketing Italy will lead the planning, execution, and measurement of marketing and communications initiatives across Italy, protecting and strengthening brand reputation, driving demand generation and building strong relationships with sales, customers, and prospects. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on tactical execution to deliver measurable business results adapting campaigns to the needs of the Italian market and sales objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the marketing team in Italy – in close collaboration with the core marketing team - to support communications and drive the execution of brand awareness, demand generation, customer retention and field marketing plans, for all Italian legal entities and brands, aligning GETEC objectives and Italy’s sales targets.
  • Lead marketing and communication initiatives post mergers and acquisitions (M&A) to create synergies between the legal entities, and when needed, executive rebranding activities.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform local marketing strategies.
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including sales teams, customers, and industry influencers, in collaboration with the central marketing team.
  • Collaborate with the core marketing team to develop compelling content, messaging and campaigns for local market needs.
  • Adapt or create demand and lead generation campaigns to promote GETEC solutions and services, in line with the GETEC marketing strategy and Italy’s business targets, to deliver leads (or qualified opportunities) to the sales pipeline.
  • Accelerate sales opportunities through regional and account-based marketing actions.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communications to drive local media relations, internal and external communications and crisis communications management.
  • Lead the planning and execution of high-impact events, including fairs, trade shows, customer conferences, roadshows, and executive roundtables.
  • Measure and report on field marketing program effectiveness using agreed key performance indicators.
  • Manage the field marketing budget for Italy, ensuring optimal resource allocation and RoI.
  • Own relationships with local agencies and suppliers.
  • Manage and develop a team of field marketing professionals.

Requisiti

  • Italian language : native and English at a fluent level (C1).
  • Experience in the energy market in Italy
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Public Relations, or related field (MBA or relevant degree a plus)
  • 8+ years of field marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful field marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and social media strategies
  • Experience with account-based marketing (ABM)
  • Excellence in project management and cross-functional team leadership.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems
  • Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical and budgeting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
