Role Overview

The person to recruit will have full management and coordination of all Ecommerce activities through the DTC website and overall digital business channels. The role is strategic and crucial for the company as it will be focused on maintaining and increasing growth and development of ghd’s Digital Business.

Job Profile

  • Full responsibility and ownership of Ecommerce turnover and profitability targets, managing with the team all activities related to the ghdhair.com website, in compliance with international guidelines and Brand strategy
  • Oversee and coordinate the digital business strategy & execution on Amazon and other third-party customers, in line with sell-out and profitability targets, ensuring strong brand presence, optimized product listings, competitive pricing, and effective promotional strategies
  • Definition of strategic, commercial and operational plans, in coordination with the Digital Marketing team and other departments
  • Full ownership of turnover and volume forecasts, integrated within the overall Demand Planning process to ensure stock alignment with forecasts
  • Definition of digital activation calendar and promotional campaigns, day-to-day operative execution management, coordinating assigned teams for on-time delivery
  • Close collaboration with the Digital Marketing team to optimise spending, budget, and to achieve traffic, conversion and profitability targets
  • Report and analysis of KPIs for ghdhair.com and 3P sites to identify opportunities to maximise results and ROI
  • Analysis, actions and tests to improve conversion rate and performance of ghdhair.com, directly or via coordination of the assigned team
  • Support to the identification of CRM strategy gaps and future evolutions to maximise the value of e-commerce customer lifecycles
  • Collaboration with HQ focused on data and performance analysis, business plan alignment, and development/production of digital assets for plans and opportunities

Key Skills & Experience

  • At least 6-8 years of experience in Ecommerce and Digital Business roles, with proven results in premium contexts (beauty, fashion, accessories in premium segments)
  • Experience coordinating resources and small teams
  • Team-oriented, collaborative mindset
  • Strategic mindset with operations excellence and problem-solving attitude
  • Ability to manage multi-projects, complexity and prioritisation in urgent situations
  • Strong expertise in site usability to optimise the consumer digital journey on ghdhair.com
  • Analytical and synthesis skills, problem solving and proactivity
  • Excellent knowledge of digital analysis tools and CMS competence
  • Passion, enthusiasm, positive energy within the ghd team and with external partners
  • Excellent written and spoken English
