Accountabilities
Reporting to the Global Director of Digital Operations, the Head of Digital Product will define and deliver the digital product vision and roadmap in alignment with business strategy and customer needs.
The ideal candidate has a proven record of leading strategic initiatives in a creative consumer product environment and is well versed in managing a portfolio of cross-functional projects. They will have an entrepreneurial spirit and flexibility to change direction and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Their technical expertise and operational excellence will influence the team’s decisions and help drive secure and robust customer solutions. They will need to assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide critical issue management, balance trade-offs, and encourage risk-tasking to maximize business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive overall product vision and strategy for MCM Digital.
- Own, manage and steer the product roadmap in alignment with key business stakeholders.
- Execute consistently, rapidly and effectively to bring product ideas to market by utilizing modern forms of product planning, discovery and development processes.
- Work with customers and internal stakeholders to scope work, set business goals, identify appropriate resources, track and report on progress and develop schedules.
- Influence product priorities, design, engineering, and testing.
- Project management working on large, complex, long-term global projects.
- Develop mitigation responses and strategies to address project risks.
- Work on problems of diverse scopes where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
- Alignment with corporate strategies through strong business and technical thought leadership.
- Monitor the competitive landscape by examining strategies of best-in-class Ecommerce retailers; identifying emerging online trends and recommending changes based on customer and competitor insights
- Engage cross-functional technical leads and program managers to build a collaborative, scaled approach to data protection and security.
- Manage project budgets and forecasts.
- Contribute to the development of Product Management methodologies and best practices.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing digital product team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
Requirements
- Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, related fields or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of experience in program and/or operations management in a high-tech environment.
- Ability to communicate a clear product vision to both business and technical stakeholders across the company.
- Experience facilitating Agile, Scrum or other rapid application development teams to deliver technology solutions to specifications
- Understanding of A/B testing planning, design and execution
- Experience with SFCC, SFMC and Akeneo PIM
- Understanding of retail / digital ecommerce / Omni Channel and Order Management and CRM Systems is desirable.
- Experience in privacy, security, data protection, or user trust programs around the globe (FedRAMP, GDPR, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with complex system architecture and design, technical troubleshooting, security and privacy standards.
- Demonstrated ability to influence relevant teams to improve product features, QA processes, and/or the maintenance of a product offering by identifying problems and suggesting and/or driving implementation of fixes or features.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex IT projects, with oversight of multiple resources and completion of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to manage complex and/or cross-functional projects and apply your skills in a data-driven environment to deliver solutions. Analytical and creative thinker with great attention to detail.
- Candidate should display critical thinking, self-motivation, and the ability to deal with ambiguity.
- Strong technical background, be detail oriented, have excellent problem-solving abilities, and be an exemplary communicator.
This position is full-time in office.
