Human Technopole (HT) is an interdisciplinary life science research institute, created and supported by the Italian Government, with the aim of developing innovative strategies to improve human health. HT is composed of five Centers: Neurogenomics, Computational Biology, Structural Biology, Genomics, and Health Data Science.

The Corporate Affairs Office ensures the proper functioning of the governance bodies and institutional relationships at HT. It provides operational and regulatory support to statutory boards, internal committees, and external institutions, ensuring compliance with relevant legal and administrative obligations.

Reporting directly to the HT President, The Head of Corporate Affairs is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of the governance activities of the various statutory bodies and other entities established by the Foundation, including but not limited to: the Supervisory Board, its subcommittees, the management committee, the court of auditors, the Supervisory Body, the magistrate of the Court of Auditors, the Scientific Committee, and the Evaluation Committee.

This role also ensures compliance with statutory obligations and manages interactions with external authorities such as the Ministries.

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Overseeing the convocation, distribution, and archiving of governance document and decisions, including the statutory books and minutes for the Supervisory Board, Management Committee, and Board of Auditors
  • Ensuring effective communication between the Supervisory Board and Management Committee, overseeing the transmission of key decisions and outcomes to relevant departments.
  • Leading the coordination of external professionals for the preparation and archiving of special powers of attorney
  • Supervising high-level correspondence with external bodies (Central Administrations, Vigilant Ministries, Court of Auditors), supporting internal teams in preparing and submitting reports, including parliamentary reporting and the Foundation’s strategic documents.
  • Overseeing conflict of interest declarations, compensation arrangements for Foundation bodies, and the archiving of biographical and regulatory documents.

Job requirements

Essential requirements (all criteria must be verifiable through the CV):

  • Master's degree in Law, Political Science, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in corporate governance, legal affairs, or institutional relations within complex organizations (e.g., foundations, public entities, or companies with intricate governance structures).
  • Proven track record in supporting governance bodies (e.g., convening meetings, drafting minutes, handling formal documentation).
  • Fluency in English and Italian (at least C1 level).
  • Previous experience of liaising with ministries or public oversight authorities.
  • Familiarity with public sector protocols and compliance standards.

Preferential requirements:

  • Advanced academic qualifications related to public administration or legal studies (e.g, PhD, Specialization School, Postgraduate Diploma).

Organizational and Social skills:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex governance processes

Salary range: up to 130K, depending on the seniority of the candidate.
