Our Exciting Opportunity!

As the Head of Compliance for Market Area Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA), you will have overall responsibility to lead a team of compliance officers in a dynamic and exciting region. You will be serving a diverse set of business and organizational units across the region and partnering with business stakeholders to implement Ericsson’s Ethics and Compliance program and drive accountability for compliance throughout the business.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the region’s Ethics & Compliance program.
  • Act as a solution-oriented trusted advisor, supporting your business stakeholders in proactively managing compliance risks.
  • Drive a culture of Ethics & Compliance and shared responsibility for compliance.
  • Manage governance activities, relevant committees, and contribute to group risk committees.
  • Oversee third-party engagement and monitoring.
  • Lead compliance training initiatives.
  • Assess and manage conflicts of interest, expenditure risks, and engagements with public officials.
  • Lead remediation efforts from investigations and manage related risks.
  • Collaborate on risk identification and mitigation.
  • Improve Compliance programs based on data analysis.
  • Identify opportunities for AI use in compliance and promote responsible use.
  • Manage an assigned budget.

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of ethics & compliance leadership experience in a multinational organization.
  • A legal degree is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in high-risk markets within the region.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with senior leaders and manage risks.
  • Experience in a matrixed organization and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong communication skills to simplify complex topics.
  • Experience managing diverse teams across locations.
  • Discretion, maturity, and ability to handle sensitive issues.
  • Languages relevant to the Market Area are preferred.
  • Ability to work across time zones and travel internationally.
