Head Of Blades Finish & Paint Director - Taranto
We are looking for a Director to lead the Finish & Paint process team in Taranto, responsible for developing and supporting manufacturing processes for our blade production.
Responsibilities
- Analysis of AS IS and future state.
- Build, maintain and implement strategy plan for the area.
- Performance management of process area including defining, monitoring and providing programs to improve KPIs and PI.
- Creation and management of the competence center within the process area.
- Responsible for Kaizen events.
- Quantitative approach using Six Sigma/Lean toolbox.
- Embed engineering skills directly into the manufacturing value stream.
- Enable faster decision-making and deeper process ownership and knowledge.
- Develop standardized manufacturing processes and tools.
- Deliver user-focused manufacturing documentation to factories.
- Ensure repeatability and scalability across internal and external sites.
- Attract and retain highly skilled engineering talent.
- Build a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.
- Engage and collaborate with stakeholders to solve operational issues with speed and quality.
Qualifications
- University degree in manufacturing engineering or related field (Master preferred).
- Green Belt Six Sigma or advanced manufacturing process analysis certification.
Experience
- +10 years in similar roles.
- Prior leadership of a team of specialists in process engineering.
- Data and quality driven manufacturing culture.
- Built culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.
- Worked in environment where people’s development is high.
- Knowledge of composite materials: fiberglass, carbon fiber, epoxy resins.
