Head Of Blades Finish & Paint Director - Taranto

We are looking for a Director to lead the Finish & Paint process team in Taranto, responsible for developing and supporting manufacturing processes for our blade production.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of AS IS and future state.
• Build, maintain and implement strategy plan for the area.
• Performance management of process area including defining, monitoring and providing programs to improve KPIs and PI.
• Creation and management of the competence center within the process area.
• Responsible for Kaizen events.
• Quantitative approach using Six Sigma/Lean toolbox.
• Embed engineering skills directly into the manufacturing value stream.
• Enable faster decision-making and deeper process ownership and knowledge.
• Develop standardized manufacturing processes and tools.
• Deliver user-focused manufacturing documentation to factories.
• Ensure repeatability and scalability across internal and external sites.
• Attract and retain highly skilled engineering talent.
• Build a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.
• Engage and collaborate with stakeholders to solve operational issues with speed and quality.

Qualifications

• University degree in manufacturing engineering or related field (Master preferred).
• Green Belt Six Sigma or advanced manufacturing process analysis certification.

Experience

• +10 years in similar roles.
• Prior leadership of a team of specialists in process engineering.
• Data and quality driven manufacturing culture.
• Built culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.
• Worked in environment where people’s development is high.
• Knowledge of composite materials: fiberglass, carbon fiber, epoxy resins.
