Head of AI Visual Production
Agents · Workflows · Fashion · Marketing
Remote · Milan-based preferred · Senior / Lead level
THIS IS NOT A “PROMPT ENGINEER” ROLE
We’re not looking for someone who generates images in Midjourney and calls it a day. We need an AI systems architect who builds the infrastructure that produces fashion-grade visual content at scale — and who can lead a team of creators through that infrastructure.
If you’ve trained custom agents, designed multi-step agentic workflows across platforms, and built production pipelines that run with minimal manual intervention — while maintaining the visual standard of a luxury fashion house — this role was written for you.
If your AI experience starts and ends with typing prompts into a single tool, this isn’t the right fit. No hard feelings.
WHAT THIS ROLE OWNS
Agentic workflow design — You will architect and maintain end-to-end AI production pipelines: chained models, automated post-processing, conditional logic, quality gates. You’ll work across platforms — ComfyUI, n8n, Make, custom API chains, scripted workflows — building systems where defined inputs produce consistent, high-quality outputs without someone babysitting every step.
Agent training and deployment — You’ve trained or fine-tuned AI agents for specific visual tasks. You understand how to configure, test, and iterate on agents so they produce reliable results within brand guidelines. You can explain what an agent is, why it matters, and how you’ve deployed one in production — not in theory, in practice.
Team leadership — You will lead a team of AI visual creators. That means setting standards, building the workflows they operate inside, reviewing output quality, and scaling the team’s capacity. You’re not just the best individual producer — you’re the one who makes everyone else faster and more consistent.
Fashion-grade visual production — Campaigns, product imagery, lookbooks, editorial, e-commerce, social. Every output must meet the standard of a high-end fashion brand. You understand fabric, lighting, skin, composition, and brand codes at a level that would pass review at a major house.
Marketing integration — You don’t just make beautiful images. You understand what those images need to do — convert on a product page, stop a scroll on social, tell a story in a campaign. You think about content as a marketing function, not just an aesthetic one.
Brand systems — You’ll establish and maintain the visual identity system across every touchpoint: web, social, campaign, packaging, wholesale. Consistency at scale is your responsibility.
WHO YOU ARE
You’ve spent years working at the intersection of AI, fashion, and marketing — either building visual production systems for brands, leading creative technology teams at agencies, or operating as a senior freelance AI specialist for luxury and premium clients.
You’ve built agentic workflows in production. Not experimented with them. Built them, deployed them, maintained them. You know the difference between a demo and a system that runs reliably at scale. You’ve worked across multiple platforms and can evaluate when to use what.
You’ve trained or configured AI agents for specific tasks. You understand fine-tuning, LoRAs, ControlNet, custom nodes, API orchestration — not as buzzwords, but as tools you’ve used to solve real production problems.
You have real fashion credentials. You’ve worked with recognised fashion brands or built visual systems for large organisations. Your portfolio includes campaigns, lookbooks, product imagery, or e-commerce visuals that were actually published and used commercially.
You think like a marketing leader. You understand conversion, audience, channel strategy, and content performance. You can explain why an image works for paid social but not for a landing page hero — and you build systems that account for this.
You can lead people. You’ve managed or directed other creatives. You know how to set quality standards, build repeatable processes, give feedback, and scale a team’s output without quality dropping.
THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF
Your AI experience is limited to prompting a single tool (Midjourney, DALL·E, etc.) without building workflows around it. You haven’t worked with fashion brands or large organisations. You can’t explain what an AI agent is or how you’d deploy one. You haven’t led or managed other creatives. You think of AI visual work as “making cool images” rather than building scalable production systems.
We respect your time. If the above doesn’t describe your experience, this isn’t the right match.
HOW TO APPLY
We don’t want a CV. We want proof of systems thinking.
Send us the following:
1. Portfolio — Fashion work only. Campaigns, product, editorial, lookbooks. Show us output that was commercially published.
2. Workflow breakdown — Pick one agentic workflow you’ve built. Walk us through the architecture: what platforms, what agents, what automation, what the inputs and outputs are, and how it runs in production. Diagrams welcome.
3. Agent experience — Describe an AI agent you’ve trained, configured, or deployed. What was it for, how did you build it, and what results did it produce?
4. Your toolkit — Every AI tool, automation platform, and software you use in production. Be specific — versions, configurations, and how they connect.
5. Leadership note — In 3–5 sentences: how would you structure a team of AI visual creators to produce 200+ fashion assets per month at a consistent quality standard? No essays. Just your operating model.
