Overview

Job Title: Head of Accounting and Taxes

Location: Rome Fiumicino

Reporting to: Finance Director

Swissport Italy is in the process of creating its finance organization to start up the new Italian business. In doing so we have an opportunity for a highly experienced professional to perform the role of Head of Accounting and Taxes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of three accountants and be the focal point for the local tax consultant
• Provide senior leadership when analysing the different accounting and tax aspects of the Italian business
• Put in place solid accounting and tax procedures, monitoring compliance with them
• Maintain relationship with the External Auditor and the Statutory Auditors
• Maintain proper bank accounting and manage cash flow reporting

Qualifications and Competencies

• MS in Business Administration or similar academic background
• At least 10 years of experience in Accounting and Taxes
• Sound knowledge of IFRS and Italian Tax Code
• Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent planning, communication, problem solving and facilitation skills
• Fluent command of English as the corporate language, and Italian
• Hands on attitude
• Strong positive, service-oriented attitude
• Manage change across cultural boundaries

Contract and Requirements

Contratto di lavoro: Tempo pieno, Tempo indeterminato

Orario: Dal lunedì al venerdì

Istruzione: Master (Preferenziale)

Esperienza: Accounting and Taxes: 10 anni (Obbligatorio)

Lingua: Inglese (Obbligatorio)
