  • About the Role
  • Reporting to the Hco CFO function, the Country Chief Financial Officer will report to the Hco Head of Italy and will act as a business partner to the General Manager and the management committee to drive performance management and key decisions, resource allocation choices, strategy formulation, and steer their implementation. The HCO CFO will be a key member of the Management Board in steering short and long-term business performance and lead risk management and governance processes in the region/country, steer performance improvement plans, and drive the cost agenda through the coordination of financial planning and controlling activities in the region/country, the mid-term plans, and budget process management according to guidelines and objectives defined at the group level.

  • Main Responsibilities
    • Coordinate the budget process, collecting inputs and comparing the company's actual performance against budgeted targets.
    • Support central HCo Controlling on industrial costs analysis.
    • Perform analysis of industrial variances, identify gaps, and drive initiatives for cost-saving targets when necessary.
    • Coordinate the cash flow budget and forecast process, collecting inputs and comparing actual performance against targets.
    • Monitor Capex spending through an efficient authorization process aligned with group policies.
    • Ensure proper funding (short and medium-term) and dividend flow management in coordination with Group Treasury and Finance.
    • Improve the quality of monthly results reporting and manage overall financial reporting and measurement processes.
    • Manage positive assurance processes and relationships with Corporate Audit.
    • Understand and mitigate key elements of the company’s risk profile. Maintain internal financial controls and risk management processes across all operations.
    • Work with direct reports to minimize risk and report issues to stakeholders.
    • Ensure tax compliance on direct and indirect taxation matters and manage relationships with Tax Authorities.
    • Implement finance transformational projects under the guidance of central finance departments.
    • Support Governance, Risk & Compliance activities for the region in alignment with group standards.
    • Provide feedback to the central team for continuous improvement.
    • Build and manage relationships with external advisors.
  • Who we are looking for
    • Degree in Economics, Finance, or Statistics.
    • Relevant experience in financial planning.
    • CPA or MBA preferred.
    • Strong analytical skills and business knowledge.
    • Proficiency in SAP or other major ERP systems, Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint, BPC/TPM/BI, HFM, and Essbase.
    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and critical thinking skills.
    • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
    • International mobility.
