This position involves testing electrical panels, following AIC standard processes, quality standards, and safety regulations. You will work closely with the PLC software programming team during commissioning at the client site, verifying the proper operation of automation/power panels. Activities include testing low voltage AC and DC drives for projects in the steel industry in Italy and abroad.

The work mode is 70% in-office and 30% on-site at the client location. This role is part of the Electrical & Automation Division of the AIC Group. We prioritize people, ensuring growth opportunities for the future.

Responsibilities

  • Testing and Validation: Conduct tests on industrial automation systems based on PLC, verifying wiring, drive and PLC parameterization, system integration, and performance.
  • Analysis and Troubleshooting: Analyze test results to identify defects or anomalies, collaborating with the technical team to develop corrective solutions.
  • Service and Maintenance: Install, commission, and maintain AIC drives and systems (AC/DC). Troubleshoot and perform corrective/preventive interventions on-site and remotely.
  • Technical Support: Provide on-field technical analysis and problem identification. Participate in internal testing of supplied systems.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on tests and verifications, including results, conclusions, and improvement recommendations, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
  • Customer Service and Sales: Ensure customer satisfaction by proposing improvement solutions. Collaborate with the sales team to expand services and identify new opportunities.

Requirements

  • Technical diploma or degree in Industrial Automation Engineering
  • At least 2 years of experience in field assistance and/or electrical panel testing
  • Deep knowledge and proven experience with Low Voltage Drives
  • Proficiency with Office software tools
  • Willingness to travel for short to medium-term trips (Italy and abroad) and daily on-site interventions
  • Ability to proactively manage client relationships, even in critical situations
  • Ability to work independently and in teams, even under pressure
  • Excellent written and spoken communication in Italian and English
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and precision in work
