A protagonist in the main strategic programs globally, it is a technological and industrial partner of Governments, Defense Administrations, Institutions and companies.Within the HW&FW DISPLAYS&PROCESSING organizational unit of the Electronics Division, we are looking for an **Hardware Designer Engineer** for our office in **Pomezia**.This person will mainly deal with the following activities:* Definition of board requirements starting from the Avionics Equipment specifications* Design of the board architecture* Electrical schematic design and component selection* Support for routing implementation* Support for component procurement and prototype assembly* Tests for prototype validation* Release of all constructive and performance documentation required by the HW development process* Coordination of collaborations with external suppliers* Project status reporting activities* Support for HW/SW integration both on the board inserted in the test-bed and mounted in the superior system* Support for the various Manufacturing phases foreseen for the boardThe resource will be included in a working group composed of both junior and senior hardware and firmware designers. A Hardware Engineer follows the entire development cycle foreseen for Electronic boards.The high technological level of Cockpit products (e.G.: Mission Computer, Digital-Map-Generator, etc.), as well as collaborations with the different Engineering and Production disciplines that contribute to the realization of the project, create a stimulating context that contributes to professionally enriching resources with the role of Hardware Engineer.**Educational qualifications:*** Three-year/master's degree in Electronic Engineering**Seniority:*** **Junior**: 1-3 years of experience;
**Technical knowledge and skills:*** Proficiency in designing digital electronic boards with microcontrollers, FPGAs, DSPs and SoCs;
* Knowledge of the main electronic components (memories, A/D and D/A converters, communication interfaces, clocking, operational amplifiers);
* Knowledge of the following interface buses: SPI, I²C, UART, CAN, USB, Ethernet, PCIe, LVDS, MIPI.* Electrical schematic design with ECAD software;
* Definition of electrical and thermal constraints for high-performance PCB design.* Knowledge of standard HW development cycles;
Also required are the following skills:* Drafting of HW specifications;
* Requirements analysis;
* Verification and Validation of developed hardware;
* Creation of all documentation associated with the hardware development cycle;
* Drafting of design documentation;
* Drafting of associated documentation according to company regulations or international guidelines.**Behavioral skills**:* Proactivity;
* ability to work in ateam;
* aptitude for problemsolving;
* flexibility in dealing with topics outside one's domain of expertise.**Language skills*** Good knowledge of English (B2)**IT skills*** Document management tools, in addition to the MS Office document management suite, knowledge of requirements management tools such as ReqTracer and Doors is welcome;
