Reporting

This position reports to: R&D Team Lead.

Location

Research and Development – Special Circuit Breaker Team, Dalmine (IT).

Work Model

Hybrid.

Key Responsibilities

• Realizing the HW design of architecture and technical details, simulating circuits, and developing electronic projects which require mainly knowledge of analog, power supply, and power electronics.
• Taking care of the design optimization by identifying technical, architectural, and circuitry solutions, and exploiting the highest integration with the rest of the product (mechanical part, control, and sensors).
• Running the prototype development, implementing the executive drawings, the entire project documentation (pre‑feasibility studies through detailed design documents), carrying out preliminary tests for design pre‑validation, analyzing the quality and reliability of the product, debugging prototypes, and collaborating in the integration with control FW.
• Drawing up the technical documentation required for production of the electronic product and carrying out activities to support and maintain the products when requested.
• Working closely with other functions and suppliers, and coordinating external partners for hardware‑related services when necessary.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering.
• Up to 5 years of experience in embedded hardware design for industrial applications.
• Skilled in prototype debugging, power supply design, signal integrity, and analog signal conditioning.
• Experience in EMI design and troubleshooting, with proficiency in lab instruments and board reworking and strong teamwork, innovation, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Comfortable communicating in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
