Role Overview:

Capable of working independently, we are looking for a sales professional with background in standard and engineered integrally geared centrifugal compressor technology to fill in our After Market Sales Manager position vacancy for our European Head Office.

Focusing in the installed base, you will play a crucial role in promoting and supporting the sale of aftermarket products and services covering European customers.

The role requires a proven aftersales expertise, and a strong blend of technical engineering knowledge, especially in the air separation, power, petrochemical, and industrial sectors.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and promote sales of aftermarket products to existing installed base in Europe.
  • Support customers on service and maintenance planning, parts inventory management and energy efficiency improvement.
  • Maintain and grow Hanwha direct customer network focusing on customer satisfaction, long-term relationships and service agreements.
  • Develop & extend the existing clients in close cooperation with the Regional and Global Sales Teams.
  • Plan and organize all related sales functions, customer visits, reports and processes.
  • Develop effective Aftersales Strategies and Planning, in line with the management business objectives, goals and targets.
  • Cooperate with Service Department for planning, schedule, and delivering service activities.
  • Evaluation and preparation of technical quotes & material presentations with support of the Sales and Engineering Teams.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent plus at least five (5) years of experience in the field of rotating machinery (turbo preferred); or equivalent combination of education & experience.
  • A good understanding of instrument air and gas compressor applications in the Oil & Gas and Chemical /Petrochemical /Power /etc. industry in the region.
  • Experience in industry related standards (API672, API617, API614 and other codes), as well as systems processes.
  • Knowledge of turbomachinery product specifications and features including control systems and auxiliary systems associated with integrally geared centrifugal compressors (preferred).
  • Ability to read and understand drawings, technical documentation, blueprints, layouts and schedules.
  • Strong commercial skills & negotiation.
  • Should have a good command of English; second language would be a plus.


Location:

This position will be located in Cinisello Balsamo (MI), Italy, and will require business trips within the region (30% up to 50%).
