Restaurant & Lounge Manager
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant & Lounge Manager to lead the daily operations of Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura in Tokyo, including the adjacent lounge within the Gucci flagship store. This role requires a leader who can deliver the highest standards of service and create an exceptional, personalized luxury experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant and lounge operations, ensuring excellence in guest service, presentation, and hospitality.
- Manage restaurant operations, including inventory control, ordering, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Lead, train, and develop a team of approximately 30 employees, maintaining efficient scheduling and workflow.
- Build strong relationships with guests, anticipate their needs, and resolve issues promptly to deliver a seamless luxury experience.
- Collaborate with the culinary and front-of-house teams on menu development and introduce innovative ideas in line with the Gucci brand.
- Monitor performance metrics, analyze business operations, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a F&B Manager or in a similar leadership role within luxury hospitality.
- Experience with inventory management systems and POS platforms.
- Strong business analysis skills and personnel management experience.
- Proficient in English (daily conversational level).
- Experience working with a luxury brand or high-end establishment is a significant advantage.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a passion for delivering luxury guest experiences.
