This role is a primary point of contact for how our field teams receive, consume, and interact with critical information.
Operating with significant autonomy, you will navigate a high degree of complexity to ensure our content platform (Highspot), field memos, and webinars are not just operational, but strategically aligned to seller behavior change and business growth.
How You’ll Contribute
As a Specialist , you are expected to manage complex cross-functional dependencies and lead specialized initiatives. Your focus areas will include:

  • Communication Project Leadership: Lead the end-to-end execution of multi-channel communication programs (field memos, Slack updates, and newsletters), ensuring message consistency across the GTM organization.
  • Content Platform (Highspot/Seismic) Mastery: Lead the content platform strategic architecting and governance. Act as the primary administrator for the Highspot platform. This includes building “Spots,” governing content architecture, and identifying patterns in usage to improve seller efficiency.
  • Strategic Enablement Support: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business priorities into field-ready messaging. You will link daily work to long-term enablement goals, ensuring communications drive specific outcomes. Work with Head of Global GTM Enablement and leaders in the creation of field-ready presentations and stakeholder strategic presentations.
  • Webinar & Event Operations: Manage the production and technical operations for large-scale field webinars, ensuring a seamless experience for technical and non-technical audiences alike.
  • Analytical Decision-Making: Proactively gather and synthesize metrics from our communication channels and content platforms. You will use this data to provide recommendations to leadership that shape future enablement strategies.
  • Support: Provide support for users (both internal and external) in accessing and utilizing Highspot. This includes troubleshooting platform issues and resolving technical challenges related to content access or usage.
  • Operational Excellence: Triage and manage the enablement team’s communication inbox and Slack channels, solving complex stakeholder requests with speed and empathy.
  • Vendor Engagement: Liaise and maintain consistent engagement with quarter reviews and feedback for improvement with Platform vendors.
Skills Needed
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, marketing or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales enablement, content management, or training roles, ideally with experience in managing a platform like Highspot or similar content enablement systems.
  • Strong background in corporate communications and experience designing communication strategies that foster engagement with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Highspot (or similar content management/enablement tools) and ability to manage and configure the platform to suit SUSE’s needs.
  • Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and how they can be integrated with content platforms like Highspot.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with experience using platform analytics to drive decision-making and optimize content strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively manage internal and external messaging, engage audiences, and foster relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to simplify complex information and tailor communication for various audiences (e.g., executives, technical teams, sales, customers).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to set timelines, manage resources, and execute training programs and communication campaigns on time.
  • Experience with tools like Trello, Asana, or Jira for project management and collaboration.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, customer success, and marketing, to gather content and ensure alignment across organizational initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, especially in troubleshooting platform-related issues or resolving user challenges related to training or content access.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will embrace the transformative nature of this role. As we continue our evolution, we require you to build capability and institutionalize best practices within GTM Enablement.
  • Experience: Proven experience in Sales Enablement, Marketing, or Corporate Communications, preferably within a technical or open-source environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) like Highspot (accreditation a plus) and communication tools like Slack and Google Workspace.
  • Execution & Project Management: Demonstrable ability to manage the execution of projects within a department, aligning resources and efforts with strategic goals while meeting scope and budget constraints.
  • Influencing & Empathy: Strong ability to maintain continuous, open, and consistent communication with stakeholders. You can persuade small groups to align with key ideas and simplify complex information for the field.
  • Strategic Thinking: An intermediate understanding of business acumen - you can evaluate how your communication plans impact the long-term objectives of the GTM function.
