TL;DR

Pillar is an Italian startup founded on February 13, 2025. In less than a year we have grown to 30 people and raised a €3.2 million round to revolutionize the construction industry.

Our goal is to become the digital backbone of construction for the Italian building sector and, in the long run, to manage 1 in 3 construction sites across Europe.

We are looking for a Growth Manager to build and coordinate our end-to-end marketing engine.

Who We Are (and Why We Exist)

The Italian construction industry is the backbone of the country’s economy, involving nearly 5 million people — yet it is still managed with outdated tools. Job sites that invoice but don’t collect, spreadsheets everywhere, decisions made by gut feeling, and margins that surface too late.

Pillar was built to solve this problem at its root.

We have built an all-in-one platform that allows construction companies to oversee every job site, monitor profitability in real time, generate instant estimates, and automatically reconcile invoices with bank transactions. We are not testing an idea: we are building the digital infrastructure of construction.

Our mission is to rebuild its foundations.

Our ambition is to manage 1 in 3 construction sites in Europe.


Why We Are Looking for This Profile

So far we have grown by combining performance marketing, sales, and a strong product. Now we want to build out a complete marketing function — one capable of generating pipeline at scale and establishing a recognizable brand in the sector.

We are looking for someone with strategic vision and operational capability, who knows how to coordinate, measure, and build.

  • This is not a pure execution role

  • It is an ownership role


What You’ll Do

You will have full responsibility over the marketing function.

You will oversee and lead:

  • Performance marketing (our primary channel)

  • Content (Meta, TikTok, YouTube)

  • Brand

  • SEO and website

You will coordinate internal resources or agencies as needed.

You will work across:

  • Budget

  • Funnel

  • CAC

  • Conversion rate

Ensuring alignment between short-term growth and long-term positioning.

You will also have the opportunity to develop:

  • Offline initiatives

  • Industry events

The goal is to build the marketing engine that will sustain our growth for years to come.


Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in B2B marketing, ideally in a startup or scaleup environment.


This is you if:

  • You have independently managed performance budgets

  • You think in numbers (CAC, conversion rate, ROI)

  • You know how to coordinate creatives, agencies, and internal resources

  • You have brand sensibility as well as a performance mindset

  • You enjoy having ownership and making decisions

  • You see yourself as a builder and want to build a marketing function from scratch

We are not just looking for a manager.
