Group Treasury ManagerTreasury, Corporate Finance & Tax Governance

Location: Milan, Italy (Montenapoleone District)

Reporting to: Group CFO

Salary: €50,000 – €60,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus annual performance bonus.

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Group Treasury Manager to join our new headquarters in the prestigious Montenapoleone district of Milan.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to take ownership of treasury activities across a growing international group while gaining direct exposure to senior management, corporate finance initiatives and strategic projects.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Group CFO and work closely with the Head of Finance & FP&A, local finance teams and external advisors across multiple jurisdictions.

The Role

The Group Treasury Manager will be primarily responsible for treasury, working capital management, banking relationships and liquidity planning across the Group.

Approximately 75% of the role will focus on treasury and working capital management, 10% on tax governance and coordination activities, and 15% on strategic corporate finance projects led by the CFO.

The successful candidate will manage one direct report responsible for accounts receivable administration, invoicing processes and commercial database maintenance.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to an international business operating across multiple jurisdictions, currencies and banking relationships while contributing directly to the continued growth of the Group.

Key ResponsibilitiesTreasury & Working Capital Management (Approx. 75%)
  • Manage the Group’s liquidity position and cash flow planning.
  • Prepare and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts.
  • Monitor and optimise working capital across the Group.
  • Oversee accounts receivable processes and collection activities.
  • Supervise one direct report responsible for invoicing administration and commercial database maintenance.
  • Coordinate banking relationships across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Manage banking mandates, signatory powers and banking governance processes.
  • Monitor and manage foreign exchange exposures arising from the Group’s international operations.
  • Produce treasury reports and liquidity analyses for senior management.
  • Support financing activities and banking projects as required.
  • Identify and implement treasury process improvements and controls.
Tax Governance & Coordination (Approx. 10%)
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors and local finance teams across the Group.
  • Monitor key tax compliance deadlines and reporting requirements.
  • Support transfer pricing governance and documentation processes.
  • Assist in monitoring tax risks and developments affecting the business.
  • Ensure expected tax payments are appropriately reflected within Group cash flow forecasts.
  • Support tax-related aspects of corporate restructuring, financing and acquisition projects when required.
Corporate Finance & Strategic Projects (Approx. 15%)
  • Support strategic projects led by the Group CFO.
  • Assist with acquisitions, business integrations and corporate restructuring initiatives.
  • Participate in financing and capital structure projects.
  • Support implementation of finance transformation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with ad hoc commercial, financial and analytical projects across the Group.
Candidate Profile

We are seeking a motivated and internationally minded finance professional with approximately 5–8 years of relevant experience.

The ideal candidate may currently work within:

  • Treasury;
  • Corporate finance;
  • Financial management;
  • Big 4 audit or advisory;
  • An international finance function within a multinational group.
Requirements
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related discipline.
  • 5–8 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong understanding of treasury, cash flow management and working capital principles.
  • Exposure to international business environments and multi-currency operations.
  • Understanding of basic corporate tax concepts and tax governance processes.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Fluent English is essential.
  • Italian language skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
