The Group Total Reward Manager defines and governs the Group’s compensation and reward policies, ensuring alignment with a high-performance culture and consistency across brands. The role covers compensation guidelines, executive remuneration, share plan administration, and job grading frameworks. By driving pay transparency and leveraging market benchmarking, the role safeguards competitiveness, fairness, and compliance, acting as a trusted partner to senior leadership. In addition, the role strengthens the Group’s talent attraction and retention capability by ensuring that reward practices are compelling, differentiated, and aligned with business priorities.


Key Responsibilities

Compensation & Rewards Policy

  • Define Group-wide compensation policies and guidelines, ensuring coherence across brands and alignment with a high-performance culture.
  • Set governance principles and criteria for annual salary reviews, leaving execution to the brands.
  • Establish Group-level policies on access to benefits, with localization and execution managed through Regional Shared Services.
  • Base policies on regular benchmarking and market insights.
  • Ensure consistency between the Compensation Framework and the Group Job Banding architecture.

Executive Compensation & Share Plans

  • Support the design and preparation of executive compensation packages and proposals, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with Group policies.
  • Lead the review and update of plan policies, ensuring timely release in line with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure accurate execution and administration of the Group Equity Incentive Plan (already designed), including enrollment, monitoring, reporting, and compliance.
  • Guarantee confidentiality and proper communication with eligible participants, acting as the point of reference for both leadership and external advisors. Partner with the Chief People Officer in managing executive compensation processes and in preparing materials and analyses for the Remuneration Committee.

Mobility Policy

  • Define, update, and oversee the Group Mobility Policy, ensuring alignment with compensation and benefits frameworks.
  • Safeguard competitiveness, fairness, and cost effectiveness in international assignments and relocations.
  • Act as a strategic partner for HR Business Partners and senior leadership in managing cross-border mobility cases.

Pay Transparency & Banding

  • Lead pay transparency initiatives in line with EU directives.
  • Design and implement job grading and banding frameworks, ensuring consistency and internal equity.

Governance & Analytics

  • Define Group-level templates and methodologies for monitoring compensation costs and workforce impact.
  • Work with People Analytics to track pay equity, reward effectiveness, and ROI.
  • Provide clear, data-driven insights and recommendations to Top Management.


Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Economics, HR, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • 8–10 years in Compensation & Benefits / Total Reward roles in structured multinational contexts (luxury, FMCG, insurance, financial services).
  • Strong expertise in compensation frameworks, job evaluation, and grading.
  • Proven experience in executive compensation and share plan administration.
  • Knowledge of EU pay transparency regulations.
  • Confidentiality, and strong influencing skills.
  • Fluent in English and Italian.
