On behalf of a leading multinational company operating in the industrial sector, with a complex and matrix organizational structure, we are looking for a Group Reporting Controller based in Northern Emilia-Romagna.
Reporting directly to the Group Controlling Manager, the selected candidate will act as a key point of reference for Group financial reporting processes, working in close collaboration with the entire Finance organization and supporting management through financial analysis, KPIs, and reporting tools on a global scale.
Responsibilities
- Acting as a trusted advisor to Support Functions EVPs and the Site Facility VP, providing financial guidance and recommendations, supported by the Central FP&A network;
- Ensuring the overall coordination and supervision of financial closing, Group reporting, and forecasting processes (including annual budget, quarterly outlooks and closing, and monthly reporting) across the Group;
- Driving the financial planning cycle, including the three-year Business Plan, annual budget, quarterly outlooks, and quarterly closing activities;
- Contributing to the preparation of financial reporting for both internal and external stakeholders;
- Providing and maintaining effective reporting tools and a robust reporting environment for all controlling stakeholders;
- Ensuring data consistency and high quality across all financial reporting processes;
- Harmonising and standardising controlling deliverables across the Group;
- Owning and driving the investment process and associated tools;
- Identifying cost optimisation opportunities and collaborating with operational teams to implement them effectively;
- Monitoring and controlling operational expenses to ensure alignment with budget and cost targets;
- Supporting internal and external audits by providing the required financial data and documentation;
- Maintaining and updating internal rules (policies, procedures, and work instructions) under Group Controlling responsibility;
- Continuously improving controlling deliverables by understanding internal stakeholder needs and enhancing finance processes, reporting, analysis, and tools to increase efficiency and quality;
- Working closely with Regional and Central Controlling teams to adapt reporting and KPIs to evolving business requirements.
Your Profile
- Master degree or equivalent in Finance
- Solid knowledge of controlling processes & business planning principles
- Strong experience in SAP FI/CO (Finance/ Controlling) in an international and industrial group
- Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standers (IFRS) accounting principles
- Experience in BI tools (Power BI / Qlick )
- Advance practice of Excel & PowerPoint
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
Employment level: Quadro
Gross annual salary: 90.000 - 100.000 Euro + MBO: 18%
