School and Vacation was founded in 2001 as an agency specializing in travel and study holidays abroad, now one of the best-known and most respected companies in the sector. We really care about our students because we have also travelled, studied and worked abroad. We know how much work and responsibility it entails to take care of them, but also how much joy these experiences can give! The most important thing to the School and Vacation team is that our students’ groups receive the support they need while traveling throughout the world. Our goal is for students traveling with us to return home with not only a meaningful, educational and cultural experience, but also a new perspective and a better English to spend in their future life!

As the group leader, you will be the link between the School and Vacation headquarters and the group on-site, your role is one of the most important parts of our programs. You represent us, therefore it is very important for us, that we share the same philosophy: to care about the people we work for.

MAIN DUTIES INCLUDE :

• Accompanying, managing and supervising groups of students (mainly minors) on a Study Holiday abroad from the moment of departure to the return to Italy;

• Organizing afternoon and evening activities and/or excursions on site; cooperating and collaborating with local staff;

• Compiling and keeping formal documents relating to the Study Holiday.

• You will be the Contact person for questions, problems and emergencies to solve on site (e.g. seeing a doctor, flight cancellations)

REQUIREMENTS :

• The candidate must be resident in Italy

• Fluency in English (B2 or higher level preferred)

• At least two previous experiences as group leader

• Very good organization and communication skills

• Distintive service orientation

• Reliability, flexibility, open-mindedness and dedication

• Ability to work in a team

• Interpersonal skills with children and teenagers

• Leadership and mediation attitude

• Problem solving skills; seriousness; strong sense of responsibility

• MINIMUM AGE: 25 years by 31/05/2026

COLLABORATION :

Contract: occasional collaboration relationship.

The candidate will have a complimentary training day in Milan to get his/her School and Vacation GL certificate
