Group Head of Consolidation & Reporting

Our client is a leading international production group, headquartered in Italy and backed by a top US private equity firm. Fast-growing and expanding through exciting M&A activity, the company offers a dynamic, multinational environment with excellent opportunities for growth.

We are seeking a Group Head of Consolidation & Reporting to join the HQ team in Monza. This is a strategic, high-visibility role with real hands-on impact. You will manage the Group’s consolidation and reporting (IFRS), working daily with the Group CFO and the CFOs of European subsidiaries, and supporting continuous improvement in processes and systems. The position includes regular European travel and requires strong collaboration across cultures in English.

Key aspects of the role:

• Lead consolidation and reporting with accuracy and operational excellence;
• Act as the daily link between HQ and subsidiary CFOs, ensuring reliable and timely information;
• Drive optimisation projects, including stronger reporting tools and advanced use of Tagetik (knowledge welcome, but not essential);
• Oversee intercompany flows and compliance with rigour and precision;
• Work closely with auditors to guarantee transparency and trust.

What we’re looking for:

• 6–10 years’ experience. Big 4 audit background (Manager level) highly valued, or experience in a similar group role;
• Strong IFRS knowledge; advanced Excel skills;
• Detail-driven, proactive, and solutions-oriented;
• Fluent English; other European languages a plus;
