Position

Group Controller

Within the Finance team and reporting directly to the CFO, the candidate will have responsibility for leading Management Control at the Group level, coordinating the Controllers of the two Business Units, ensuring methodological consistency, data quality and strategic support to the CFO. At the same time, in an initial phase, the role will have direct operational responsibility for management control of the Group’s third Business Unit, recently acquired.

The role requires an operational approach to the function, methodology and the ability to guide the evolution of management control systems in a technically complex and transforming context.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor industrial performance and KPIs for efficiency, productivity and profitability of production BU’s.
  • Manage Budget, Forecast and monthly closing processes, ensuring timeliness, accuracy and quality of data.
  • Analyze industrial variances and provide detailed interpretations to the CFO and management.
  • Prepare monthly and executive economic-financial reports from production flows.
  • Develop business cases, make‑or‑buy analyses, profitability by product line/project and/or alternative scenarios.
  • Coordinate Controllers of Business Units, ensuring methodological consistency and standardized processes.
  • Consolidate group financial results and prepare management reporting.
  • Support the CFO in extraordinary projects (M&A, integration of new companies, revision of costing models).
  • Implement and structure the industrial costing system and determine product/project costs, aligning them with Group standards.
  • Oversee product and project cost calculation, including raw materials, transformation, cycle times, labor, logistics and quality.
  • Participate in approval processes for purchase requests and new initiatives with economic‑financial oversight.
  • Implement and monitor cost centre accounting aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

Technical

  • Degree in Economics, Management Engineering or related field.
  • 5–10 years’ experience in management control, preferably in medium-sized companies within mechanical processing.
  • Experience building costing models and control systems.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving and structured process understanding.
