Group Consolidation Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the transition to the new OneStream consolidation system as part of the Finance Transformation Program.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly consolidation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, supporting both stand‑alone reporting requirements and SoftBank IFRS reporting.
• Monitor and ensure the complete and accurate reporting of transactions by reporting units in key consolidation areas, including cash flow, equity, inventory profit eliminations, acquisitions, divestitures, and disclosures.
• Partner closely with the Financial Reporting Team to prepare SoftBank reporting packages and external stand‑alone financial reporting deliverables.
• Coordinate and collaborate with Finance and Accounting Operations teams to ensure timely submission of financial information for consolidation.
• Prepare and document consolidation adjustments and ensure all intercompany balances and unrealized profits are eliminated.
• Manage foreign currency translation, ownership interests, consolidation hierarchies (legal and management), the Group chart of accounts, etc.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and accounting within a multinational organization and/or a Big Four audit firm, with strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS and hands‑on experience in consolidation accounting.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial consolidation systems; experience with OneStream is a strong advantage.
• Affinity for BI solutions and a willingness to learn and adopt new technologies and processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify practical solutions and drive continuous improvement.
• Proactive, hands‑on, and collaborative team player who thrives in an international, fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with both financial and non‑financial stakeholders.
