As Group Commodity Buyer (m/f/d) for our HQ in Castelfranco Veneto, you will be part of the Group Purchasing Team dealing on a worldwide scale.


Accountability and Objectives :

  • Procurement management;
  • Negotiation;
  • Supplier research and Evaluation;
  • Cost reduction activities.


The main Key Responsibilities will be:

  • Execute the purchasing process for the assigned commodity, ensuring compliance with the required timelines, costs, and quality, in respect to purchasing goals and strategies assigned;
  • Select and evaluate suppliers based on criteria such as cost, quality, delivery time, in collaboration with stakeholders;
  • Identify potential new suppliers and evaluate existing suppliers' performance in terms of compliance to company’s goals such as cost, quality and strong focus on delivery time;
  • Promote culture and apply procurement contracts with suppliers, ensuring full coverage of relevant terms and conditions, including supply risk management;
  • Establish and improve collaborative relationships with suppliers to secure the best possible level of service;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure required materials are available when needed, supporting production and other company department;
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining efficiency.


Skills & qualifications :

  • Master's degree in engineering or business/economic disciplines
  • 3+ years of relevant working experience in procurement. International experience is a plus
  • Strong negotiation skills and proactive approach
  • Analytical rigor and solid process management
  • Excellent communication and relational skills
  • Proficient with MS Office and SAP
  • Fluent English and Italian
