This figure acts as a strategic business partner to Sales, Marketing, and Operations, bridging the gap between industrial costs and commercial profitability to drive sustainable growth across products, projects, and service offerings.

YOUR NEW JOB
As a Group Commercial Controller, you will provide financial leadership on pricing, margins, customer profitability, and commercial strategy to support data-driven decision-making. You will report directly to the Group CFO and Group CSO.
- Partnering with Sales leadership to drive pricing strategy, deal structuring, and margin optimization, ensuring a clear link between manufacturing costs and final market prices.
- Analyzing profitability across equipment, installation, and aftermarket/service revenue, with a deep dive into Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and industrial margins.
- Providing financial oversight for bids, tenders, and large-scale HVAC projects, including risk assessment and cost-to-serve analysis.
- Developing and maintaining pricing models that reflect standard costs, raw material fluctuations, FX, tariffs, and competitive dynamics.
- Supporting revenue forecasting, pipeline analysis, and conducting rigorous volume/mix/price variance analysis to understand commercial performance against industrial capacity.
- Evaluating discounting, rebates, warranties, and promotional programs to ensure overall net profitability.
- Delivering actionable dashboards on bookings, margins, win rates, and commercial KPIs.
- Driving continuous improvement in commercial controlling processes, tools, and corporate governance across the Group.
HARD & SOFT SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering Management, or Economics;
MBA or professional certification (CPA, CMA) is a plus. - 7–10+ years of experience specifically as a Commercial Controller, Senior Controller, or Group Commercial Controller within a structured industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing commercial dynamics, including the relationship between factory Standard Costing, COGS, and commercial pricing.
- Expertise in pricing, margin variance analysis (price/volume/mix), and commercial deal economics.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills;
strong proficiency withERP systems (SAP FI-CO/PA, Oracle) and CRM/BI tools. - Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
