Grand Events Marketing Lead
Reports to: Grand Events Division Manager
Compensation: €34.000‑44.000 annual gross plus benefits
Role Overview
The Grand Events Marketing Lead maximizes marketing opportunities for the Castelli brand within the Grand Events Division, overseeing strategy, planning, and execution across digital, on-field, and broadcast channels at major cycling events.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the marketing strategy, annual calendar, and tactical plans for the Grand Events Division and key events.
- Collaborate with the Event Organizer’s marketing teams to maximize Castelli visibility across all channels, including digital, social media, email, activations, announcers, on‑field branding, and broadcast.
- Coordinate hospitality and promotional opportunities with the Castelli marketing team at each event.
- Ensure consistent brand visibility before, during, and after events, aligning internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Support Castelli subsidiaries and distributors in leveraging marketing opportunities in local markets.
- Provide organizational support to Castelli content creation, digital marketing, and social media teams.
- Serve as the primary press contact for each Event Organizer.
- Assist with on‑field activation alongside the Castelli marketing team.
- Monitor marketing activities conducted by event organizers to ensure compliance with Castelli’s contractual rights.
Requirements
- Fluent or very good level in French (written and spoken) is a MUST.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sports marketing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 25% of the time.
- University degree in sports marketing, communications, or a related field.
