Graduate Frontend Developer

We are looking for a Graduate Frontend Developer to join our team and build the interactive dashboards and internal tools we use with clients. In this role, you will work with our consultants to turn complex data into clear, usable interfaces. A key focus of your early work will be supporting our engagement with an Italian energy provider with headquarters in the metropolitan area, helping them track operational habits. This is a full-time, permanent position designed for someone starting their career. About the role At Olive Tree Consulting, we help leaders solve practical management problems. We do this by creating simple, highly effective written systems and tools rather than heavy software platforms. As a Graduate Frontend Developer, your role is to build and refine the lightweight web applications and tracking tools we use to support our advisory work. Instead of building massive, over-engineered systems, you will focus on clarity and speed. By joining our team, you will help us show client teams exactly where their processes are stalling. This role is a hybrid position, combining productive quiet time at home with collaborative team sessions in our local shared workshop space. What you will do

Build and maintain clean, simple web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript. Collaborate with our consultants to translate meeting structures and decision templates into interactive digital tools. Create mockups and prototypes to help clients, such as our partner Italian energy provider, visualize how their internal data will work. Participate in hybrid team meetings to review feedback and plan features.Write structured, clean code that is easy for others to read and maintain.

What we are looking for

A strong interest in building clean, functional user interfaces that prioritize clarity over decoration. A practical approach to problem-solving and an eagerness to learn new development technologies. Excellent written communication skills, with an ability to explain technical ideas to non-technical team members. A collaborative mindset, happy to work in a hybrid environment where we split our time between remote work and in-person sessions.

Helpful background

Basic experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Svelte, gained through university projects or personal portfolios. A good understanding of clean HTML and responsive CSS. Familiarity with Git for version control.
